When is the show?

Saturday 4th June 2022.

Our show is traditionally held on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, however due to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022 this bank holiday has been moved to Thursday 3rd June, with an additional bank holiday on Friday 4th June. Therefore we have selected Saturday 4th June for our show date for this year only.

How much are tickets?

Adults – £10
Children (5-16) and concessions (over 65) – £6
Family ticket (2 adults and up to 2 children) – £25
Under 5’s are free

Cash and card payment is accepted on the gate on the day.

Where is the show?

You can find us on The New Showfield, Harwood Lane, Great Harwood, Lancashire, BB6 7UL.

Where can I park?

We have a large car park for visitors adjacent to the show field. Please follow road signs on the day directing you to ‘show parking’. Access to the car park is via Church Lane and parking is free.

Do you have disabled parking?

We have a number of designated disabled parking spaces which are at the front of our car park closest to the entrance. Please note these are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Is the free bus running this year?

Yes, we have a free to use vintage bus service linking Accrington and Whalley to the showground. The timetable will be publicised near to show day.

Can I bring my dog/s?

Yes! Dogs on leads are very welcome and why not enter them in the pet dog show or have a go at agility and flyball with them?

What time does the show open?

Classes in certain sections begin approximately 08.30 and usually run to 18.00. The main arena events begin at 10.00. For competitors entering the showground there are staff on site from 06.00.

How do I know what is going on?

Pick up a ‘What’s On’ Guide for just £2.50 that will tell you all you need to know about the show. They are for sale at various points around the showground. Alternatively, have a look around the website for information of everything to see and do.

Is the showground suitable for wheelchairs and prams?

We have a number of hardstanding walkways for pedestrians that you can follow around the showground. Please be aware the majority of the show is on grass including the car parking.

Can I enter classes on the day?

Entries are taken on the day in some sections. Please check with the section you wish to enter directly.

Where do competitors park?

Competitors carrying livestock and horses (e.g. horseboxes and trailers, cattle/sheep trailers) are to follow the EXHIBITOR PARKING signs as you will be parking on the show field in the relevant section.
